SERVPRO of East Dallas Helps Local School After Flash Flooding

The start of the week started with a wet start! The Dallas area got more rain than expected with more rain than this summer combined. Unfortunately this lead to roads flooding, and homes around East Dallas got affected heavily. Homes and buildings around East Dallas ended up flooding with some buildings having standing water.
A school in Mesquite called out to SERVPRO of East Dallas to help out with the water that has entered the building. We performed a walkthrough with the Principal and took notes of all the areas of damage. We were in the same day and started to setup equipment around the school. The school had multiple ceiling tiles that fell down, so we had our technicians clean up any mess due to the flooding. SERVPRO of East Dallas is locally owned and operated—so we’re a part of this community too. We are also part of a national network of over 2010 Franchises, which enables us to respond quicker with more resources. For major storms and disasters, we can call upon special Disaster Recovery Teams strategically located throughout the country.
