Major Potential Flooding Areas Around Dallas

SERVPRO of East Dallas has experienced to handle flooding in homes and businesses. Whenever it comes to flood damage, Dallas is not exactly safe. The city has been affected by flood damage and will continue to be, however there are certain spots around Dallas that are more prone to flooding. Here are SERVPRO of East Dallas's 'Most Likely To Flood so Be Aware!' spots around Dallas.
This one is fairly close to the office so we are always on guard for this area when it rains. Three projects in Far East Dallas near El Cerrito Drive and Highland Road. The city of Dallas is currently constructing a relief system for off-site drainage. This will help out this area drastically.
West Lawther Road through the White Rock Creek Greenbelt, this area is a low crossing and easily floods once heavy rainfall hits.
Heavy flooding is always reported on Hard Rock Road in Irving. Whenever this area is flooding please try to go around, this area always leaves cars and people stranded if trying to cross.
Dallas is a great city, but whenever heavy rainfall occurs, it becomes a flood city. Please be careful when driving in the rain, the safe option is to always pull over and wait out the rain.
