Flooding After a Tropical Storm
Let summer, early fall can be an active time for weather in the Houston area of Texas. 2019 proved this to be true. Hurricane Imelda hit off the coast of Texas in late September causing major flooding in the southeast region. As water levels began to enter homes, many SERVPRO franchises left their territories and headed to that area to assist. SERVPRO of East Dallas took a crew down and immediately got to work.
Large Loss
This photo shows our equipment in a home after water had receded and we had extracted the standing water. Due to the extensive damage, most most homes in the area experienced large loss. We were happy to be able to help in many of the homes by drying the surfaces and preparing them for restoration.
