Drying Subfloor
Every Minute Counts
The longer water sits on the floor, whatever the surface material (carpet, tile, wood, linoleum, etc), the more layers of damage ensue. Even a few hours can be the difference in preventing damage and the need for surface removal.
Get to the Bottom
When we start a water job, we evaluate the contents and assess the damage. The first step is to extract the standing water and then decide if it is appropriate the start drying the top surface of the flooring or if water has penetrated to the sub-flooring. In this before picture, the carpet is completely saturated in some areas. In the second picture you can see that we removed part of the carpet and the subflooring was wet. With our powerful equipment we were then able to able dry the subfloor.
